His wounds from that badger about a quarter-moon ago opened, and... -looks down- I'm the new leader. So, my first duty as leader is to appoint a deputy. Now, by my mate's wishes, I shall grant Wolf-feather the position as the temporary deputy.
Another duty in my Clan is to make apprentices into warriors. And today, I shall be doing that with Frostpaw and Nightpaw. I, Redstar, leader of MountainClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn. By the powers of StarClan, I give them their warrior names. Frostpaw, from this moment you will be known as Frostflower. StarClan honours your determination and kindness. Nightpaw, you will be known as Nightspirit. StarClan honours your courage and skill. We welcome you as full warriors of MountainClan.
